How it works

All you need to start is your website and a project in mind.

  1. 1

    Tell us who you are

Add your website. Crafty reads it, and Companies House if you’re registered, to fill in your organisation’s details. You check them.

  2. 2

    Describe your project

Six short questions in plain English: what you’ll do, who it’s for, and how you know it’s needed. As you go, Crafty checks the Fund’s rules on amount, timing and location.

  3. 3

    Get your application

Answers within every word limit, a cost breakdown, a review against the Fund’s own advice, and the form laid out field by field, ready to copy into the portal.

It won’t make things up.

Assessors check what you tell them. So Crafty only writes from what you’ve said. If an answer needs your venue, a figure or a quote from someone you help, it leaves a highlighted gap, and the checklist won’t call your application ready until every gap is filled.

Questions

Can my group apply to Awards for All?

Most voluntary and community groups, charities, CICs, schools and parish councils in England can, for projects that cost £300 to £20,000 and last up to 24 months. Crafty checks the main rules for you before you write anything.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. Add your website and you’re straight into your application. You only make an account to save your work, after you’ve seen your first answer.

Will the answers sound like us?

They’re written from your own words, in plain English, the way the Fund asks for. Where an answer needs a fact only you know, such as a venue or a number, Crafty leaves a highlighted gap rather than guessing. You can edit everything.

Does Crafty submit the application for me?

No. You submit it yourself on the Fund’s own portal. Crafty gives you every answer in the same order as the portal, so it’s a matter of copying each one across.

What if it isn’t right for us?

Ask for a refund within 14 days of paying and you’ll get your money back in full.
